Education - Online Tutoring and EveryoneOn

Online and In-Person Tutoring

makes the grade(s)

Impoverished parents often lack basic education, because they are unable to help their children complete homework or provide the encouragement they need. That’s why our tutoring program is so important.

Empowerment

Free, 1-on-1, online and in-person tutoring. We help kids from underserved communities unlock their potential by connecting them with exceptional tutors.

“A changed child!”

Tutor Doctor offers a vast range of programs that can be individually tailored to each student the tutors work with. We come to you, providing quality online tutoring services you can trust. Our goal is to help students not just understand a subject, but understand how to learn and develop their potential in the future.

EveryoneOn

is the key to success

EveryoneOn helps unlock social and economic opportunity by connecting people in under-resourced communities to affordable internet service and computers and providing digital skills training.

GCF Global offers free basic computer skills plus e-mail and internet safety. This allows kids to complete homework, write résumés and meet the requirements for good entry-level jobs.

If you do not have the computer or electronic device to access the internet or learning platform, please contact us at support@hop4kids.org. We partnered with companies to provide affordable used computers.

You can also make a reservation to our location to use our computer for taking the online classes.

97%

of children who completed a computer skills course saw increased proficiency in computer skills.

Access and Quality –

Hop4Kids foster innovative and inclusive teaching so that children learn in a safe environment. We are helping to improve children’s access to education and encouraging the learning process through the training of teachers and emphasis the benefits of technologies. In addition, we build the knowledge, skills, and values of young people, so they reach their full potential. Therefore, we support non-formal education, strengthen the capacity of communities to perform early learning activities.

Why focus on education?

By helping kids finish secondary school, they are in a much better position to take advantage of opportunity and find employment in the future.

Our education programs support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030. No. 4 is: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Learn more about SDG No. 4 here.

Give kids the chance to succeed

A good education is a child’s best chance to escape poverty. When you fund a monthly Education Pass, you ensure that kids will receive help through one of our programs to go back to school, purchasing school supplies, reading materials, or learning computer skills.

Kids in poverty need educational resources.

You can provide them! When you fund a monthly Education Pass, you grant kids the chance to learn. Your donation provides the support they need to graduate from school and find a good job in the future.

How (specifically) does your support help kids?

Kids received help in our sponsorship program have access to the resources, and it based on location, age and life circumstances.

Here are some of the ways your support is used for education:

  • Providing material support for supplies, uniforms, shoes, or books
  • Volunteering as a math or English tutor after work
  • Awarding scholarships to attend a professional school, college or other higher education institutions
  • Working directly with parents to ensure their kids are enrolled in school by providing financial help
  • Partnering with existing educational facilities in the community
  • Educating parents on how to improve interactions with their kids at home

Did you know? Starting early matters! Kids who participate in early childhood development (like preschool) achieve higher education, then they will make more money as adults.
