I am writing to thank you for Hop4Kids’s Family Emergency Fund. I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as the recipient of the fund.
Ann Li (San Leandro, CA)- Ann works in small local restaurant that her paid is barely able to pay her bills and do not have enough left over to support her children. Received Family Emergency Fund for her children continue to eat nutritious meals and maintain her home. Therefore, we hope that our Emergency Fund would help her to relief her financial stress and increase her temporary income.
A simple “thank you,” would just not satisfy the amount of gratitude I feel. Hop4Kids assisted my family during a time of distress for all of us: myself and two small children. I was devastated, uncertain which way to turn and almost pulling my hair out. The process was simple, staff accommodating and not one moment did I feel embarrassed to require help.
Carrie Ott ( Union, SC) – Received Family Emergency Fund due to the unexpected maintenance costs of her home. The unexpected collapse of the home ceiling leaving her children unable to live at home. Fund was used for relocation expenses and to cover partial of her bills. Carrie is still looking for additional fund to cover the unexpected expenses and bill.. Dawn Glove (Paso Robles, CA) – Received Family Emergency Fund due to the unexpected doubled utility bills of her household. Her car could not pass the smog check and she had spent extra money to get the car back to the road. Fund was used for fixing her car and to cover partial of his bills.
Hop4Kids helped me in a great time of need. I did the application at 4 p.m & had the funds deposited by 8:30 p.m. This organization is fantastic & has helped me greatly. Thank you Alex!

I am a high school teacher in the Bay Area looking for funding and they answered without hesitation.
As a teacher, we require so much money to set up our classrooms before we see students. Thus, I am fortunate to have Hop4Kids on my side this year.
